   Whereas, pursuant to paragraph 127.(1)(c) of the Public Service Employment Act, the Governor in Council may appoint a special adviser to a minister;

   And whereas the Governor in Council deems it necessary that there be a special adviser to the Minister of National Revenue acting as the ombudsman for taxpayers;

   Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby sets out in the annexed schedule the terms and conditions of employment of the special adviser to the Minister of National Revenue, to be known as the Taxpayers’ Ombudsman, who may be appointed by the Governor in Council under paragraph 127.(1)(c) of the Public Service Employment Act.

   Attendu que, en vertu de l’alinéa 127.(1)c) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, le gouverneur en conseil peut nommer un conseiller spécial d’un ministre;

   Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil juge nécessaire qu’il y ait un conseiller spécial du ministre du Revenu national agissant comme ombudsman des contribuables,

   À ces causes, sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil établit, conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, les modalités d’emploi du conseiller spécial du ministre du Revenu national, lequel doit porter le titre d’ombudsman des contribuables, que le gouverneur en conseil peut nommer en vertu de l’alinéa 127.(1)c) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique.
