Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 127.1(1)(c) of the Public Service Employment Act, appoints the Right Honourable David Johnston, P.C., C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D., of Ashton, Ontario, to be special adviser to the Prime Minister, to be known as Independent Special Rapporteur on Foreign Interference, to hold office during pleasure, on a part-time basis, for a term ending on December 12, 2023, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which per diem is within the range ($1,400 - $1,600), effective March 15, 2023.
Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)c) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme le très honorable David Johnston, C.P., C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D., d’Ashton (Ontario), conseiller spécial auprès du premier ministre, portant le titre de rapporteur spécial indépendant sur l’ingérence étrangère, à titre amovible, à temps partiel, pour un mandat se terminant le 12 décembre 2023, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel taux journalier se situe dans l’échelle (1 400 $ – 1 600 $), à compter du 15 mars 2023.
