Whereas the Minister of Transport has consulted with the members of the Atlantic Pilotage Authority and with the users of its services, with respect to the appointment of a Chairperson, to serve part-time, under subsection 3(2) of the Pilotage Act;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, under section 3 of the Pilotage Act, appoints John Patrick McCann of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to be part-time Chairperson of the Atlantic Pilotage Authority, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years.

Attendu que le ministre des Transports a consulté les membres de l’Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique et les utilisateurs de ses services concernant la nomination du président du conseil, à temps partiel, en vertu du paragraphe 3(2) de la Loi sur le pilotage,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme John Patrick McCann de Dartmouth (Nouvelle-Écosse), président du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans.
